Terms of lease

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

The vehicle may be rented only by a person (hereinafter “the renter”) who is at least 21 years old and has held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years.
When picking up the vehicle, the renter is required to present valid documents: passport or ID card, and driver’s license. Efex Rent A Car staff are required to make copies of these documents and keep them on file.
The renter must sign the rental agreement confirming acceptance of the agreed vehicle price, additional services, deposit amount, and the exact vehicle return time.
By signing the agreement, the renter also accepts the general rental terms and conditions listed on the back of the contract.

The DAILY PRICE includes tax, full insurance (CDW) and unlimited mileage, unless stated otherwise in promotional offers. The daily rate covers a period of 24 hours from the moment of pickup, with a tolerance of up to 1 hour when returning the vehicle. All prices are expressed in Euros, while payment is made in Serbian dinars at the selling exchange rate of Bank Intesa at the time of pickup. All major cards are accepted: VISA, MASTER, AMEX.

A DEPOSIT is mandatory at pickup and depends on the vehicle class. The minimum deposit is 350 €, and the exact amount can be seen during reservation. For regular customers, the deposit may be reduced. For renters under 25 years, the deposit is doubled, with a minimum of 700 €. Efex Rent A Car Belgrade reserves the right to increase the deposit or refuse vehicle issuance. The deposit may be paid in any currency according to the Euro exchange rate.

INSURANCE: The rental price includes full insurance with a deductible up to the amount of the deposit. This means that in the event of an accident or theft, your liability is limited to the deposit amount left at pickup (minimum 350 € and up).
You may also rent the vehicle with Full Coverage Insurance, for which the surcharge depends on the vehicle class and will be shown on the website during the reservation process. If you choose Full Coverage, and provide the required police report, you will have no financial liability in the event of an accident or, with returned documents and car keys, in the event of theft.
Full insurance does not cover interior damages such as stained or burnt seats, or scratched/damaged surfaces.

LEAVING SERBIA with our vehicle is possible only with our approval and a 30 € fee. If you plan to travel outside Serbia, you must notify us in advance; otherwise, the authorization document will be stamped to prohibit international travel.

WORKING HOURS of our branches at Belgrade Airport “Nikola Tesla” are 07:00–24:00. Any pre-booked pickup or return 30 minutes before or after working hours is free of charge.
Pickups or returns between 00:31–01:00 and 03:45–06:30 are subject to a 15 € fee + VAT.
Pickups or returns between 01:00–03:45 are subject to a 30 € fee + VAT.

VEHICLE DELIVERY is available and charged additionally per agreement.

ALTERNATIVE VEHICLE OFFER
We reserve the right to provide you with a vehicle of the same or higher class at the same conditions if the selected vehicle category is unavailable.
