GENERAL TERMS:

The vehicle can only be rented by a person (hereinafter referred to as the lessee) who is over 21 years old and has held a valid driver’s license for at least two years.

When picking up the vehicle, the lessee is required to present valid identification documents, which include a passport or ID card, as well as a driver’s license. Copies of these documents will be made and stored in the records by the Rent a Car Belgrade staff.

The lessee must sign a contract confirming the agreed rental price of the vehicle and additional services, the amount of the deposit, and the precise time of the vehicle’s return. By signing the contract, the lessee agrees to the general terms and conditions of the rental, which are listed on the back of the contract and available on our website.

The PRICE of the vehicle rental per day includes taxes, comprehensive insurance, and unlimited mileage unless otherwise specified in the promotional offer. The daily rate includes a billing period of 24 hours from the moment the vehicle is picked up, with a one-hour grace period allowed for the return. All prices are expressed in euros, and payments are made in dinars according to the Bank Intesa exchange rate at the time of vehicle pickup, either in cash or by credit card. We accept all cards: VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX.

A DEPOSIT is required upon vehicle pickup and depends on the vehicle chosen, with a minimum amount of €200, and the exact amount will be shown during the reservation. The deposit can be paid in cash or secured through a hold on a credit card. For regular clients, the deposit amount is reduced. For individuals under 25 years old, the deposit is doubled, with a minimum of €500. Rent a Car Belgrade reserves the right to increase the deposit or refuse to rent the vehicle. The deposit can be paid in any currency according to the euro exchange rate.

INSURANCE: The rental price includes comprehensive insurance with participation in damage costs up to the deposit amount, which means that in the case of an accident or vehicle theft, your responsibility will not exceed the deposit amount, which starts at €200. You can also choose full insurance, for which the additional cost will depend on the vehicle class, and the exact price will be displayed on our website during the reservation. If you opt for full insurance and provide a police report, in case of an accident, you will not bear any costs, and in case of theft, you will not be responsible for the damage as long as you return the documentation and the vehicle keys. Full insurance does not cover damage to the vehicle's interior, such as stained or burned seats, or scratched and damaged surfaces.

LEAVING SERBIA with our vehicle is allowed with our consent and upon payment of a fee of €30. If you plan to travel outside the country, please inform us in advance, as otherwise, we will issue a document prohibiting such travel with the vehicle.
